Location: Falk Miksa street and its neighbourhood
The Falk Miska street and the surrounding streets in downtown Budapest form an art quarter in the city. On it devotes itself again to the art lover foot passangers. As usual the visual art - antique as well as modern - will play the major role, and naturally the fun and music will support it.
According to the traditions, on the street's entire length, the Quarter's antique dealers, art galleries will occupy the sidewalks, and from 2 pm to 10 pm, they welcome everyone with festival feeling and cultural programs. Fire jugglers, concerts will entertain the quests, the enthusiasts can take guided art tours, and those, who got tired and hungry can have a rest in the numerous kiosks - sitting on benches decorated by well known artists.
It was a great pleasure to the organizers, that the Falk Art Forum, a festival with such a short history was rewarded the Gold Degree of The Future City Prize by the local government, for it's highly innovative efforts to renew the neighbourhood. We hope, that this year's event will live up to it's newly acquired pedigree.
