" Váczi Dani was born in 1978 in Budapest. As a professional he mainly worked in the press, as a staff photographer and image editor. In 2007 he started to actively deal with art, he introduced himself with carved statues. In parallel, independent imaging began to interest him. The results of this manifested in the 2008 exhibition in the Stoll'Art Gallery, entitled: 'Enjoyable Madness'.
Portraits of known performers from the 70s and 80s - like Klaus Nomi, Nina Hagen and Lene Lovich - appeared in his pictures. They returned in his second show this year, facing us in a better-balanced ensemble. He used different techniques in almost every work; like common ink, montage, oil or acrylic. Besides these, he uses enamels, glass paint, floor varnish, which sometimes cover small parts, even insects, butterflies, feathers and other imprints from his living environment. "
